"Chicken Licken" Puppet Show with Adam Bennett from SciTech
Watch a puppet show and learn to create shadow puppets…
Join Adam and Chicken Licken on this adventurous, engaging and puppet-y tale popularly showcased at SciTech. Plus! Learn to create your own shadow puppets from the show (that you then get to take home with you) in an interesting and hands-on workshop.
Mixed in with this recipe of food, puppets and music is the story of Little Red Hen and the sly Foxy Loxy. Will she outwit him and save her stuffing? What will she teach us about our wetlands?

About the Presenter
DNA Co-founder Adam Bennett has 20 years of puppetry and performing arts experience and works at Scitech, Perth’s science education and interactive visitor attraction. SciTech was founded in 1988, about the same time Adam got his first job as a puppeteer at Perth’s Spare Parts Puppet Theatre. Having returned to Perth in 2010 after 20 years in Europe as a freelance performer and puppeteer, founding DNA Puppetry and Visual Theatre with Rachel Riggs, Adam is now strategically developing the Western Australian Youth Theatre Company as well as working on the performances for Scitech’s puppet theatre.
Adam has also directed the ‘Things that Glow’ science show in the Lotterywest Science Theatre for a special After Dark adults-only performance.
