Join the Port Adelaide Historical Society for a three Course Christmas Dinner in the Kathleen room at the Alberton Hotel. Helen will entertain us with her History quiz and other entertainment.

Choice of Salt & Pepper Squid or Spring Rolls for Entrée; Roast Turkey or Fish & Chips or Chicken Cashew Stir-fry for the main course then finish the meal with Christmas Pudding.

The Port Adelaide Historical Society has been working to preserve and protect the history of Port Adelaide and environs area since 1972. Our collections consist of framed pictures, photographs, maps, books, artefacts, printed ephemera and maritime memorabilia dating back to the 19th century. The collections are housed at our Semaphore rooms, our Museum at Peterhead and recorded in stone in the Portonian Walk. The Portonian magazine, has been published quarterly and has become a valuable source of Port Adelaide history for historians and researchers. Our Semaphore collection, above the Semaphore library is available to the public every Friday 1:30-3:30pm Our Museum located at 95 Fletcher Road Peterhead, is open each Sunday from 2:00 pm until 4:00pm
