    Event description

PLEASE NOTE: This event will now be held indoors due to forecasted rain!

Happy Heurich “Christmas in July!” On Thursday, July 25th from 5-8pm, celebrate DC’s craftspeople - past and present - in the museum’s biergarten.

Celebrate the opening of our “Little Free Craft Library,” explore our new traveling exhibit featuring craftsmanship and architectural details from the historic mansion, shop the local makers “seconds and supplies sale,” decorate your own wooden ornaments, and cool down with seasonal flavors with Ice Cream Jubilee!

Makers begin to prepare for the holiday season as the summer winds down by selling extra inventory, tools, and materials to make room for their new products.

    Details:

    • Free, RSVP requested
    • Ornament making at no-cost
    • Biergarten beverages & Ice Cream Jubilee for sale

Christmas in July is rooted in the museum’s decade-long experience of building a more equitable space for hundreds of local small-scale manufacturers, the entrepreneurial and manufacturing legacy of the Chr. Heurich Brewery, and the craftspeople and artisans who built the Heurich mansion.
