Christmas Woodworking: Ornaments & Toys

ABOUT THE CLASS

Give scrap wood a second life this holiday season!
Join us at the Lairg & District Learning Centre for the launch of our 'A Recycled Christmas' woodworking series on Saturday, 14th November, from 10am-2.30pm with a 30 min break for lunch. Please bring lunch with you - we will have the kitchen available with access to hot drinks and biscuits, along with our microwave.

Guided by tutor Graham, this hands-on workshop invites participants of all ages to learn foundational woodworking skills while transforming discarded wood into beautiful, sustainable holiday gifts and decorations.

Spend up to 4 hours crafting your own unique Christmas ornaments and toys in a friendly, supportive environment.

• Age guidance: Open to all ages; children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

• Project focus: Upcycled wooden toys and ornaments, from hand-painted wood rounds and little cars to festive character statues.

• Experience: Beginner-friendly; all guidance and materials are provided.

If cost is a barrier to joining, please contact us for a concessionary rate at admin@lairglearningcentre.org.uk.
