Description

ABOUT THE CLASS

Join Maddy for a fun, practical 2-hour pickling workshop where you’ll learn essential preservation techniques and make delicious handmade gifts to take home!

In this hands-on session, Maddy will guide you through different pickling and fermenting methods—including shelf-stable and quick fridge pickles—using a variety of fresh ingredients.

In addition to crafting your preserves, Maddy will introduce the principles of pressure canning for long-term food preservation. She’ll cover the essential equipment you’ll need to get started at home and share recommendations for reliable suppliers and helpful Facebook groups to support your preserving journey.

Whether you want to stock your own pantry or craft unique, edible Christmas gifts for friends and family, this relaxed session is suitable for all skill levels—all ingredients and equipment are provided!
