CitySwitch - Reduce your travel emissions Sydney workshop
Event description
Join us for our upcoming face-to-face workshop focused on understanding, measuring and reducing businesses travel emissions. Â
To reach net zero, businesses need to account for their travel related emissions. Business travel, for example, can account for around 10% of an SME’s carbon footprint and is a focus area for many of our CitySwitch members.Â
This workshop, delivered in partnership with BWD Strategic, will build on the national webinar and provide you with a deeper understanding of your business related travel emissions, methods to capture and quantify them and ways of setting realistic targets by developing an internal travel policy. There will also be a hands-on activity on managing and reducing your scope 3 travel emissions within your organisation.Â
We will be joined by a great panel of industry professionals to help you solve your travel emissions challenges. including Misha Cajic from Avarni, Charlotte Twigg from Transurban and Kyle Bolto from Ohmie Go.Â
This workshop will cover:Â
- an introduction to scope 3 travel emissions and a recap of our national webinar
- capturing, measuring and quantifying travel emissions
- demystifying electric vehicles
- developing a travel policy for your business
- managing and reducing scope 3 travel emissions
- next steps and future commitments.
Facility managers, sustainability officers, office managers, green teams or simply those looking to understand all things travel emissions related, this will be a great discussion for you.
We welcome potential new CitySwitch members to this workshop.Â
Light breakfast catering will be served and a free tea/coffee voucher for the onsite café will be provided. Don't forget your reusable coffee cup.
