Clem Mcfawn Working Bee
Description
Clem Mcfawn Place is undergoing transformation and much help is needed in having work completed! Join us in preparing plants for summer heat by surrounding them with mulch. Recently, nearly 100 plants were planted by the waterway at Clem Mcfawn Place and Orange City Council has generously donated a large pile of mulch. We're aiming to have all the new plants mulched by the end of the working bee.
The planting project has been generously funded by the late Cyril Smith who envisaged the open area at Clem Mcfawn being transformed into a place of thriving native wildlife. We are deeply grateful for his initiative in beginning work on this project and are excited to enable its continuation.
Please bring a hat, gloves, water bottle and wear sturdy shoes. I will bring feed bags to move mulch with, if you have other devices, you're most welcome to bring them too. Families warmly encouraged to attend.
