Clown Workshop with Dandy MaGee - PITS Festival 2026

Hosted by Emma aka Dandy MaGee

Join Emma as she shares the joy of clown, facilitating games and clowning exercises. Connect, be silly, and find the fun!

No clown experience is required - your curiosity is enough.

Things will get physical, dress in comfortable clothes and shoes, and bring a water bottle.

Emma aka 'Dandy MaGee' is a Freo local, a piano teacher, and a long-time fringe performer - most notably with The Hairy Godmothers ('Dizney in Drag: Once Upon a Parody', 'WET', 'Villains: A Dizney in Drag Parody'). Keen to add to her repertoire of drag, musical theatre, and cabaret, Emma is also fresh outa clown school! She's recently completed the first year course of theatre and clown training at École Philippe Gaulier in France, and, since being back in Boorloo, is eager to continue exploring the multi-faceted genre of 'clown', and to share the fun, play, and spread the joy with her community at home.
