Co-operative Farming is supported by the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment through funding from the Australian Government’s Starting Farm Co-operatives Program.

Topics covered on the day include:

    • National and International Co-operative Landscape
    • Co-operative Principles and Values

The Co-operatives National Law (CNL) commenced in Queensland in December and is now in force across all Australian jurisdictions. Learn and network with other co-operative leaders from this vibrant and growing sector in THE tailored, practical program specific to co-operatives!

Presenter Sam Byrne FAICD is the Secretary of The Co-op Federation and co-author of Co-operatives in Australia: A Manual (all participants receive a copy of the second edition published in 2017).

The Co-op Federation is a membership-based, not-for-profit peak body supporting, promoting and representing co-operatives and the co-operative enterprise model.

All course materials are provided. Tea, coffee and lunch are also included in the ticket price.

Tickets are fully refundable and we will keep a close eye on Covid19 conditions in order to notify participants with as much time as possible in the case of any possible lockdown event.  In this case we will reschedule and you will have the option of postponing your ticket or receiving a refund.

We look forward to meeting you soon!
