SOSNT is a citizen science program for volunteers to support nesting turtles and protect nests. From September to January turtles leave the water to nest, they are vulnerable during this time, so need your help the most.

You will be trained to support nesting turtles, protect their nests and use the TurtleSAT App.

There are 2 events in this series.

Choose one of the following sessions.

• Wed 5 Aug 5:45PM - 8PM at The Wetlands Centre in Bibra Lake

• Sun 16 Aug 2:15PM - 4:30PM at Harvest Lakes Community Centre in Atwell

Light refreshments will be provided.

Families welcome! Turtle tracking is a family friendly program, and we encourage youth to get involved.

There are also 2 training sessions specifically for Bibra Lake hosted by the Wetlands Conservation Society - Walliabup Wildlife Warriors. If you wish to track at Bibra Lake, please register for one of the 2 Bibra Lake sessions.
