Company of Dramatic Arts (CODA) is an independent theatre company based in Sydney’s Inner West, creating bold, inclusive and community-driven theatre for young people and adults.

At CODA, we believe the stories we tell begin with the people who create them. Our productions and programs are built around collaboration, creativity and connection, bringing together performers, creatives and audiences who share a love of live theatre.

From full-scale musicals and plays to youth productions, workshops, showcases and development programs, CODA creates opportunities for artists at all stages of their journey to perform, learn, experiment and grow. We are passionate about producing high-quality theatre while maintaining an environment that is welcoming, supportive and accessible.

Founded by theatre-maker Kris Sergi, CODA has grown into a vibrant creative community with a focus on championing emerging artists, creating meaningful performance opportunities and making space for diverse voices both on and off the stage.
