Collage Adventure with Kathy Burnside

About the Class:
In this two hour workshop you will be introduced to the creative process and benefits of collage. There will be hands-on experience in a group setting, guided by Kathy Burnside of Blue Wagon, LLC. You will work on a specific theme prompt, then move to free creative expression with your own unique collage project. All supplies provided, but feel free to bring any additional images you would like to work with.
About the Artist: Kathy Burnside
Kathy Shaw Burnside is an artist of many talents. At this time in her journey she's developed from a bookbinding artist into a junk journaling artist. This art form has its roots in bookmaking, and includes recycling and upcycling. The art form encompasses many of the paper arts genres--watercolor, origami, Zentangle, just to name a few. Kathy presently teach classes at Alamance Arts in Alamance County. Kathy is passionate about her art, and this really comes through in her classes. Kathy and Neysa Rojas are the founders of Blue Wagon Studios, LLC and the Eno Arts Mill's BIPOC Artists in Residence for 2025.
