An ensemble of leading Australian musicians comes together for a flurry of new compositional activity by Andrew Byrne alongside canons of J.S. Bach.
Byrne's recent work explores geometries of sound—spirals, tilings, and algorithmic patterns generating musical expressions of internal logic and perceptual clarity. All of these works will receive their premiere by a sextet of virtuoso performers.
