Event description

The Yarra Riverkeeper Association, in conjunction with the Friends of Yarra Flats Park, has been restoring the native vegetation surrounding the billabong over the last 4 years. This planting will add grasses and ground covers to further enrich the habitat at this beautiful site.

Meeting Point: Phillips Fox Billabong in Yarra Flats Park, Ivanhoe.  Enter the park just north of the McArthur Rd/The Boulevard intersection, and turn left onto the Main Yarra Trail (billabong is marked on Google Maps).

Saturday 26th July 2025
Time: 10:00 AM – 12.00PM 

Wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. Gloves will be provided.
