Electrical Repairs
Bring a piece of electrical item to fix with one of our volunteers, learn to safely dismantle, identify issues and take home a renewed electrical (hopefully).
The Bower Repair Cafés are free meeting places to learn the art of repair in a collaborative setting and about moving away from a throw-away culture to foster creativity and re-use. Our Repair Cafés are held in Redfern, Parramatta and Zetland. Members and non-members are invited to attend.
The Bower's popular electrical repair cafe is now running weekly every Wednesday (1-4PM) and monthly on the first Saturday of the month (10AM-12PM). Starting back February 2020.
All you have to do is bring your disobedient appliance and together with our volunteers you can learn to safely dismantle, identify the issue and potentially get a full repair.
