Our next New Babies Day is coming up and we are so excited!
This is a great opportunity for parents/carers of babies 0-2 years to meet, network and learn from professionals about topics relevant to their babies.Â
We’re excited to welcome Clare Woods and Srilakshmi Ramakrishnan as our speaker at the upcoming New Babies Day on Saturday, 30 November!
Clare will be presenting on Primary Care and the GROW program, a valuable service provided by CESPHN.
Clare Woods
Clare brings over a decade of experience in developing health programs tailored to support vulnerable populations. She previously led the creation of the My Health Matters folder at the Council for Intellectual Disability and currently serves as the subject matter expert at CESPHN, where she’s pioneering the Primary Care Enhancement Program. With her deep commitment to inclusivity, accessibility, and better health outcomes, Clare is a dynamic leader in the field of public health.

Srilakshmi Ramakrishnan
I am a Senior early intervention therapist currently working with Ultimate Health Greystanes. I have 12years experience in the field as Physiotherapist in neurological rehabilitation, paediatric and Geriatric care. I have previously worked with the Down Syndrome Federation of India(DSFI) as early intervention therapist and been part of the national level awareness camps conducted by the federation every year in different states of India. I have been part of the Pan Asia Pacific meets of Down Syndrome Association. I have also worked as Neurodevelopmental therapist working on the fine motor / hand writing skill for children with Down Syndrome. I had published a research paper on Aquatic therapy for children with DS in 2019 through Longdom Publishing SL. This event is FREE for Down Syndrome NSW Members
For children with Down syndrome aged 0-2 years, their parents and siblings.
Prenatal families are most welcome to attend.
