Connecting to the Body With Nature

Event description

Do you find it hard to disconnect from social media, Netflix & everyday stresses?

This 2 hour workshop is created to help reduce stress, anxiety and depression by doing activities that bring us into the present moment and reconnect with our body. We have so many devices and means to keep us distracted, helping us numb our feelings and sense of self. In this workshop we will hold a safe space to gain awareness of yourself and experience the creativity and fun where playfulness will be nurtured.

Intention for this workshop:

  • connect to your body amongst nature
  • relax your nervous system and reset the body & mind through sound
  • reconnect with the earth whilst creating with clay
  • focus on the present moment

The creative art mediums that will be used:

  • singing bowls
  • clay
  • material from nature (leaves, flowers, sticks)

What to bring: water bottle & hat

No prior arts experience required. Creativity is not about the end result but rather the connection you gain through the journey.

Connect to your body to stay in the present moment through Creative Arts Therapy. Allow yourself to reconnect with Nature & feel the peace it brings.
