Cooking with Care | Online Information Session | Industry focus
Description
Service and Creative Skills Australia (SaCSA) is undertaking the Cooking with Care: Designing Learning Resources for Culinary Skills in Aged Care Food Service project to develop learning and assessment resources supporting new units of competency (UoCs) for chefs and cooks working in specialised settings, including aged care, hospitals, disability care environments and other specialised commercial kitchens.
The project will develop a suite of learning resources, trainer materials and assessment guidance aligned with the new UoCs, supporting RTOs to prepare for their delivery following endorsement.
As part of this work, SaCSA is undertaking industry and stakeholder consultation to inform the development of these resources.
This online workshop is focused on industry stakeholders and provides an opportunity to share insights, experience and feedback to help ensure the resources reflect current industry needs, practices and expectations.
