Cool, Calm & Connected Kits (Youthful Creatives)

Have fun creating your 'calm down kit' and learn how to use a range of strategies when managing big emotions; for a cooler head, more calm and more connection!

We will enjoy a decorative and interactive experience together while we learn about various helpful tools for co-regulation and self-regulation. 

First we'll decorate up a storm! We'll learn how to make our own set of breathwork buddy cards; personalising them to suit your uniqueness then decorate our kits in this way too. There are exciting colours, decorations and sparkles to play with throughout this process and you'll go home with a range of wonderful tools to use for years to come! We'll also enjoy some calming yoga, positive self image sing-a-longs and super sensory squishiness!

Either book for your child to attend independently (5+) or join us with a parent-child pass (all ages) to feel connected in community and have fun creating something with your child which can help empower you both when big feelings arise.

This is an interactive, informative and creative workshop about the profound impact of building a toolkit for positive behaviour management and emotional regulation. Human emotions are BIG and modern life is FAST. If you resonate with holding space for your children to navigate their big feelings, using engaging tools to diffuse temper tantrums, and bringing more calm to your household; I would love to share these resources with you.

Having worked in diverse primary school settings, and had great success with ‘calm down’ tools amongst a variety of children, I am very excited to share these magic self-regulation strategies far and wide!

*2-4 year olds very welcome with a (complimentary) guardian to support their creation experience.

Grab a coffee and indulge in a bit of your own self-care time to fill your cup while we look after your littles (age 6+) during the workshop. Becki is a registered and experienced primary school teacher who is very confident nurturing, and being responsible for, young children so you can relax and recharge at peace :)
