Upgrade your skills with UC’s AI short course

The University of Canberra, in partnership with Evolutioned and Cisco, proudly presents The AI Advantage: Fundamentals for Government.

About the course

Designed for government and public sector employees, the program focuses on getting the most out of Microsoft Copilot. We also cover public generative AI tools like Gemini, Claude and ChatGPT - all in the context of the DTA's usage guidance.

What to expect

Interactive demonstrations that show AI in action across real workplace scenarios

Hands-on clinics to help you build practical skills with guided support

An exclusive industry session with leaders and practitioners working in the AI space

Build practical AI skills for work

The program builds skills in adaptive use of generative AI - moving from prompt engineering into relationship management, iterative working and clear tasking. With this, participants will be able to improve productivity, support decision-making, reduce manual work and explore new ways to drive innovation in your role.

Your journey to learn AI tools begins now!

AI is already changing the way industries and governments work. UC’s AI short course will help you stay ahead by building practical skills you can apply straight away.

You’ll receive a UC Certificate of Completion once you finish the course, as well as a recognised Cisco digital badge to highlight your achievement.

Participants will also have access to the Cisco Networking Academy course, Introduction to Modern AI, as optional pre-learning for the short course.

This pre-learning is estimated to take approximately 5 hours and is recommended for those who would like to build foundational knowledge before attending.

Apply now to secure your place and start building your AI skills.
