Slow down. Listen. Create
Follow a gentle path through the Art House Garden, listening for the quiet life around you — the rustle of leaves, the movement of air, distant sounds and the gentle pulse of the garden.
Together, we will create and share sound using xylophones, metallophones and handheld percussion. Simple patterns invite us to play, move, listen and respond to one another.
At different points along the way, there will be spaces to pause, reflect and respond through sound, mark-making and written words.
A shared journey of listening and making.
We will come together at the end to share, reflect and connect over light refreshments.

- Do I need to have musical experience?
This is a relaxed, collaborative experience for everyone — no musical experience is needed.
- What do I need to bring?
Come prepared for outdoor night-time wandering. Wear comfortable clothing and footwear.
Bring as little as possible. We won't be taking anything on the path with us. There will be a safe place to leave personal belongings.
- Can I arrive late?
An orientation and simple guidelines for participating will be shared at a short wlecome and information session starting at 6:30pm. There will be information cards with these simple guidelines at the entry point if arriving late.
