Explore ways fall foods can support digestion, hydration and balance during the hottest months of the year. Discover how TCM combined with Indian curries can be both both nourishing and restorative. And how mindful movement can help us stay rooted, centered, and in tune with the autumnal shift.
We’ll be joined by Tammy Bray, local Qigong instructor, for slow gentle movement benefiting digestion, energy flow and overall well-being. Food is more than just sustenance—it’s a practice in seasonal living, a way to align with nature, and an opportunity to nourish ourselves in a whole new way.
As always you’ll walk away with invaluable tips, tricks and flavorful tidbits. The cooking portion of the class is demonstration style where participants observe and taste the evening’s dishes. Although it’s not mandatory, we hope you dress comfortably and plan for slow gentle movement. This class follows a whole food plant-based approach and may include optional dairy, egg and gluten.
