"A Whole-Body Awakening" is a space to release held tensions, stresses and begin exploring the relationship between your body~mind and ultimately, your relationship with yourself.
HOW DO WE DO THIS: Through specific movement and breath.
WHY DO WE DO THIS: Tensions, stress, emotions, traumas & limiting beliefs are not designed to be held in our physical body and impact our whole system - immune, physical, emotional, mental, our endocrine system, organs, skeleton, muscles, fascia, skin, and fluids. When these stressors are not given the space to move through they become stuck in your body-mind system.
HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS IS YOU?: Your Behaviours show you what is happening below the surface AKA - overeating, emotional eating, excessive shopping, seeking external approval, screen time - scrolling - gaming, unstable relationships, blaming, complaining, feeling stuck, feeling lost, overwhelmed & any behaviour you want to stop but cannot.
WHO IS THIS FOR:
This day is for anyone wanting to explore their physical body and how we hold stress, how this limits who we are. If you often feel stuck or overwhelmed by life’s challenges and want to stop reacting and start consciously responding, the afternoon is the space for you.
•No body exercise or experience needed, however we will be up and down off the floor, adjustments can be made.
•In need of a safe, nurturing space to reconnect with your body, expand your awareness, and gain clarity.
• Curious about somatic healing and eager to explore how movement, breath, and polyvagal toning can help recalibrate your nervous system.
• Seeking a mindful, reflective retreat to realign with your inner flow and purpose.
Working through a trauma-informed yoga, Yin yoga, therapeutic movement, and dance, this experience invites you to reconnect with your body, release what no longer serves you, and move towards embodied awareness and self-acceptance.
TIMETABLE
1.30pm - Arrive, breathe, settle.
1.45pm - Release - Body & breath movements to release held tensions.
2.45pm - Restore - Vagal recalibration with movement & sound.
3.30pm - Re-create - Moving beyond healing into growth, expansion, and becoming.
4.00pm - Journalling experience & creating a clear direction forward.

Te-Awa Taputoro is the founder of HoloSoma.
Te-Awa is an embodiment coach dedicated to supporting others to come into a deeper loving relationship with their body & mind. With over 15 years of experience in health and fitness, Te-Awa brings extensive expertise in empowering individuals & groups.
Her extensive knowledge spans various disciplines, including yoga teacher specialising in yoga therapy, trauma-applied yoga & Hatha yoga. Additionally, Te-Awa has a background in contemporary movement, embodied shadow work which incorporates traditional movements integrating multiple movement forms into her unique skill set.
