Welcome to Glitter Gel Pen Book Club — a Sydney meet-up for like-minded girlies who want to romanticise their lives, read sugary novels, and yap about them over a glass (or two) of natty wine. We’re here for the “frivolous” feel-good fiction and a space to unapologetically enjoy and discuss books beyond 19th-century literary classics.

So if you’re in your twenties or thirties, craving a bit of escapism and love a rom-com with your rosé in an aesthetic setting, welcome to your new favourite cal invite.

Event Details:

Join us at one of Sydney’s most iconic wine bars. This special mid-week meet-up is your chance to escape the chaos, sip on delicious natural wine, and chat about all things books, pop culture, and life with like-minded women.

When: Tuesday, 30th September, 6 pm.

What: A signature Glitter Gel Pen Book Club gathering. Think good food, great wine, and even better chat, all without the fuss of a sit-down dinner: just relaxed vibes, juicy conversation, and your book-loving besties in an aesthetic setting - what more could a girl want?
Where: Tucked down an alleyway in Darlinghurst, Love, Tilly Devine, is one of Sydney’s original wine bars and the perfect backdrop for our mid-week book club escape.

Your ticket includes:

• A delicious bespoke charcuterie spread designed by the Love, Tilly Devine team for grazing and sharing as you sip, chat, and unwind, plus a glass of natural wine (or a non-alcoholic alternative) on arrival.
  • Two and a half hours of intimate, feel-good conversation with like-minded girlies over beautiful food and wine.

✨ To keep our meet-ups intimate (while ensuring as many of you as possible can join!), we’ll be hosting two book club nights in September.

We’ll be discussing the same book at both meet-ups, and both nights will be equally joyful, just hosted at different venues, with slightly different ticket prices based on the space and menu. You’re welcome to book whichever one suits you best!

A note on pricing: Our event prices vary by venue, but creating accessible, great-value experiences is always our top priority. We work closely with our venues to ensure your ticket covers good food, great wine, and a wholesome few hours of connection and escapism, without breaking the bank. Because let’s be real: being a girl who loves to eat out, collect books, do pilates, buy overpriced matchas, AND have a social life in Sydney adds up.
