Hibernaculum Mid-Winter Retreat
Earthwalk Ways LLC
fredericksburg, united states
Event description
You will love this retreat if you are looking for a small group getaway with intimacy, deep relaxation through mindful, creative and contemplative activities that help us slow down, deepen and re-collect ourselves as we get ready for the new burst of Spring. Â
This is the perfect time to explore a profound process I call Deep Listening, that allows us to practice awakening our Divine Presence as we go through this time of agitation and activation of feelings and thoughts that arise in us moment to moment with the changing landscape of our soul journey, illuminating everything within us. This is a time to feel and release it, so the new beginning can be a true renewal. Â
We will explore some visioning processes to take us into the future, and we will free up the places where we are burdened or stuck. The process for doing this is perfect for this Yin time of year as it is totally receptive and yet oh so profound. Â
This is the Cross Quarter time of the season of winter. Imbolc is an old Irish term that means "In the Belly". The signs of life are stirring but they are still mostly in the belly of the earth. Energy of the returning sun, calling everything back to life, but before we leap out into the sunlite world, let us linger in this belly of the womb and deeply take in all the nourishment there. Â
This will be a free flowing time of sharing and gentle movement, inner process work and a deep into the night shield building ceremony.
The shield while commonly associated with protection is like a name, a sacred object for us to remember ourselves. It will not stop arrows or bullets, but it will keep us secured in our own true nature. You will create a shield that will represent and remind you of your true nature.Â
