Korean Natural Farming(KNF) basics for your garden.

Price $25 – $30 AUD Get tickets

Event description

Would you like to learn an ancient method of restoring soil?  Asian farmers have been using microbes, collecting microbes and adding ferments and extracts for 100s of years to build their soil and to grow crops, all done for virtually free and from things available all around us.

Ben Klenner will show you some of these processes: Collecting IMOs (Indigenous microbe organisms), making fermented plant juices and talk about the benefits of Korean Natural Farming.

Come along and join us for a guaranteed interesting and different approach to how you can garden.

About Ben Klenner

Hi, I’m Ben from Perth, Western Australia.

I’m passionate about reconnecting our roots into the soil; in our gardens and the country we live on. I believe as we discover and grow our connection to the soil, we discover more about ourselves and our place in our ecosystem and on this earth.
Practically, I’ve been inspiring people to build healthy soil and healthy microbiomes through my podcast The Probiotic Life. This is where I discovered natural farming. I have been learning and implementing natural farming methods over the last six years, and specifically Korean Natural Farming for four years.
I’ve had the opportunity to implement some of these practices while working at Perth City Farm, and extensively at Woodstone Farm.
My previous career as a landscaper has given me a pragmatic approach to natural farming, yet I still hold space for getting philosophical too.
I’m excited to share with you and help you connect in with the natural cycles of the earth, for your health, and the health of this planet
.
