Event description

ACT Policing, in collaboration with SpringOUT, is hosting a free community panel to meet with senior ACT Policing members, including the Deputy Chief Police Officer Paula Hudson and the Executive General Manager Corporate Peter Whowell, who are proud members of the AFP Pride Network. Paula is co-chair of the Pride Committee and Peter is Co-Champion. They will be joined by members of the AFP’s Pride Committee and LGBTQIA+ Liaison Officers.

This unique event provides an opportunity to learn about ACT Policing, including the LGBTQIA+ Liaison Officer’s roles as an invaluable resource and advocate for the community when engaging with police. It’s a space for honest conversations, shared experiences, and a way to bring stronger connections between ACT Policing and the LGBTQIA+ community, promoting positive relationships and understanding for the future.
