Event description
Through fun outdoor games, eco-art projects and environmental exploration, kids develop self-esteem, self-confidence and a lifelong love for the natural world at Paradise Creek Nature Park. It’s an hour-and-a-half of outdoor fun, games and hands-on nature education with the Elizabeth River Project – perfect for homeschoolers and remote learners ages 4-8 with a different theme each week.
Dates: Tuesdays, April 23 & 30; May 7 & 14
Time: 10:00am-11:30am
April 23 - Earth Day Excitement: Celebrate the earth with recycled crafts, games and exploration.
April 30 - Beautiful Blooms: Learn about the native flowers blooming at the park through scavenger hunts, foraging and art
May 7 - For the Birds: Find out why our park is such a great place to see birds and learn about our common birds through games, show and tell, bird walks and more!
May 14 - Spring Celebration: Celebrate the sights and sounds of spring with crafts, music, teamwork games and fun!
You can register for multiple dates after first selecting one date.
Target age: 4-8, Children must be accompanied by an adult guardian
Bring: sunscreen, bug spray, water bottle.
Cost: $15 per session or pay what you can.
