Description

Children and caregivers are invited to Wolbach Farm for a morning of storytelling with Sudbury Valley Trustees. We’ll read the picture book, If you Find a Leaf, by Aimee Sicuro, an exquisite picture book that celebrates the fall season and encourages children to see the colorful leaves around them in an entirely new way. The artist uses real leaves to make her beautiful illustrations. We'll also read, Leaf Man, by Lois Ehlert, a Caldecott Honor-Winning picture book about nature, imagination, and fall. After the story, children may complete a craft project to take home. If there’s time, all are welcome to visit the Nature Nook at the farmhouse or to take a walk along the George Lewis Memorial Trail loop. After the program families are welcome to enjoy our shady picnic area next to the main parking lot, so feel free to pack a lunch or a snack.

Park at the main lot at Wolbach Farm and walk over to the barn.

Children must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

Photography will be taken during this event. If you do not want your child to be photographed, please let the photographer know.

This program is not suitable for dogs. Unless your dog is a service dog, please leave your pets at home.
