Summary
‘Strength and Stretch’ uses bodyweight and resistance bands to build strength, balance and mobility. We've designed small group sessions specifically for beginners and those who are new to strength training, but these classes are also suitable to those with more strength-training experience and want to build strong foundations.
Both Matt & Cy will coach you throughout the sessions and provide support to check your form and guide you to find the best variation and level of challenge for you. Spaces are limited to ensure everyone can get support and ask questions in the classes.
The sessions are designed as a sequential programme, to build and progress on the previous. It is a cross between personal training, and group classes. There is a maximum 6 participants per coach.
What to bring
Please bring your own mat and long resistance band.
If you need to borrow a band, please drop us a message (by replying to the confirmation email). We have limited bands so it'll be a first come first serve basis. We can also sell you a band at the class – just let us know in advance!
If you would like to purchase your own band before the class, we recommend getting a set of resistance bands or a light single resistance band (similar to those linked).
Location
Classes take place in the High Tide Room at the Bondi Pavilion.
