Mandeng Groove are a brand new 5-piece ensemble formed by Amadou Kalissa and Kyle Muir alongside members of BUMPY, Danika and Harry James Angus. 

Mandeng Groove's live show centers around Mande music from West Africa, but the group also draw inspiration from jazz, funk, soul and blues. Expect a pulsing journey through infectious dance driven by djembe and electric guitar as well as serene moments with kamale n'goni and bass clarinet.

Tonight will not only be a celebration of the release of Mandeng Groove's debut EP earlier this year, but will also be a final send off before the group travels to Amadou's home country of Guinea to play more music! À bientôt!
