Corazon Repujado Workshop

Join us for a unique workshop that blends art, culture, and sustainability! In this hands-on session, participants will explore the beautiful tradition of crafting Milagros hearts while using stunning German Foiled Paper.

Milagros, or Miracles in Spanish, are small folk charms found throughout Mexico and Peru. The Heart Milagro (also known as the Sacred Heart) represents love, healing and gratitude. In this workshop, you’ll learn about the history and significance of Milagros as you create your own personalized heart, perfect for gifting or display.

We’ll also dive into sustainable practices, using eco-friendly techniques to get the most of your materials. Our instructor will guide you through each step, sharing tips on how to work with the delicate foiled paper to create intricate designs that shimmer and shine.

Whether you're a seasoned crafter or a curious beginner, this workshop invites you to unleash your creativity in a supportive environment. Bring your friends and family for a couple hours of art, connection, and meaningful creation!

This workshop is appropriate for ages 13+ only. Minors do not have to be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the workshop. Adults must come inside to drop their minor off with the workshop instructor. Drop off begins 10 minutes before the scheduled start time, and everyone must be picked up at the scheduled end of the workshop.

About the Instructor

Hi everyone, my name is Minerva. I am 22 years old and I’m from San Luis Potosí Mexico. I make a little bit of everything from earrings, shirts, and paper crafts; everything that I make is inspired by my culture. I hope everyone loves what I make as much as I love making it.

Hola a todos, Mi nombre es Minerva, tengo 22 años y soy de San Luis Potosí México. Yo hago un poco de todo desde aretes, camisas y artesanías de papel. Todo lo que hago es inspirado en mi cultura Mexicana. Espero que les guste todo lo que hago así como a mi me gusta hacerlo.
