Motherhood can feel beautiful, overwhelming, isolating — and sometimes all at once. I remember how challenging those early years can be (and honestly still are even with big kids!)
That’s why I’m creating a safe, supportive space where movement is accessible and connection is easy. I want it to feel just a little easier to choose you, even once a week for 50 minutes.
We encourage you to stay for a coffee after class and take the chance to connect at your leisure.
Come as you are — sleep deprived, snack master, interruptions and all.
FAQs
- How much does it cost?
Classes are $15 per person.
Your first class is free so that you can experience the space and decide if it is for you.
- What do I bring?
Tropic State allow use of their mats and props during our class.
For yourself, please bring a towel and water bottle, plus grip socks if desired.
We have a small play area with a few toys for shared use. However, we encourage you to bring a small mat/ blanket for your baby to lay on, a couple of toys and pending age, plenty of snacks or anything else that will help your mini settle.
Please consider the young babies moving around the room if you child is eating and be mindful of the cleanup required at end of class.
- Can my child come?
Yes! Babies and toddlers (up to school age) are welcome.
You know your child best, you know whether they will be okay in a group setting and or whether they will allow you any space to move your body - the decision is yours.
Noise and interruptions are unavoidable, and there is plenty of space to step out if your child needs a reset.
- Is there childminding?
There is no child minding. You are responsible for your child during the class. The instructor may be happy to help, but her focus will remain of leading the whole class.
- Where is post class coffee?
Tropic State are allowing us to use their gorgeous studio - which comes with the opportunity to purchase a White Whale coffee in house after your class. Limited other beverages also available.
- Where can I park?
There’s plenty of street parking available on Anderson St and down McCormack St.
Please avoid parking in the studio carpark.
