Event description

As part of the Third I Festival — a month-long celebration of storytelling, culture and connection - an one-night collaboration bringing together Indigiearth and Kolkata Social in a celebration of culture, land and tradition. This special dinner will weave the stories and ingredients of First Nations Australia with the vibrant flavours of Bengal, creating a menu that honours heritage while embracing the present.

The menu will be complemented by a thoughtful pairing of vibrant and delicious drinks.

An evening of connection through food, over a shared table.

Sharon Winsor, a Weilwan woman from North West NSW, was born in Gunnedah. During her early years in nearby Rocky Glen, she enjoyed catching yabbies from the dams and creeks, preparing them

for eating. Sharon excelled in horse riding, competing in Equestrian events regionally and nationally.

Today, Sharon is a dedicated supporter of Indigenous culture. She serves as an educator, storyteller, chef, and leader, sharing insights from her life's experiences. Through her native food products,

culinary events, and publications, she aims to educate the wider community about Indigenous ingredients.

This event is supported by the City of Sydney, helping us create connection through food and culture.
