What You’ll Experience
An intimate evening of food, performance, and conversation - all in support of ending the silence around domestic violence.
Three-Course Dinner + Drinks: Enjoy a thoughtfully curated three-course modern Indian feast by Curry Queen Manpreet Sekhon and the team at Masti. Known for its signature Indian Soul Food, each course is a celebration of bold flavours, rich spices, and vibrant textures. Beer and wine included.
An Exclusive Live Performance Extract: Experience a powerful live extract from And What Will People Say? — an award-winning, immersive theatre work blending Indian classical artforms and spoken word. The performance explores the unspoken realities of domestic violence, centring both pain and the courage required to speak truth.
Panel: "Real Conversations" Go beyond the stage with BCD Theatre Founder Kersherka Sivakumaran and three trailblazing artists as they explore what it means to break silence, challenge cultural stigma, and use art as a force for systemic change. Honest, unfiltered, and deeply human - this is the conversation our communities need to have.
This evening is for anyone who has ever felt the weight of a story that needed to be told, or who believes that art can open doors that policy cannot. If you're looking for a space where silence ends and healing begins, join us.
