Creating Your Herbal Medicine Chest Series: Fire Remedies

    Hydrate, Hearten, Thrive

Embark on a journey where you sync your well-being with the changing seasons! Join us for an enriching in-person class series that celebrates the magic of herbs and the wisdom of nature.

Summer is a time of abundance and growth, both in nature and within ourselves. As the element of fire becomes more prevalent during this season, it is important to tend to our bodies and minds in order to maintain balance and harmony. One way in which this element manifests is through our gastrointestinal health, as well as our creativity and productivity.

During the summer months, many medicinal plants are in full bloom, thriving despite extreme weather conditions. This serves as a valuable lesson for us on the importance of adaptation and breaking up stuck emotional patterns in our own lives. Just as these plants find ways to survive and flourish, we, too, must learn to adapt to changing circumstances.

In addition to tending to our internal fire, we will explore practical applications of herbal first aid and skin care. By incorporating these practices into our daily routines, we can further enhance our overall well-being and create a growing apothecary of natural remedies.

As we embrace the energy of summer, let us remember to nurture the element of fire within us while also learning from the resilience of nature around us. By doing so, we can cultivate a deeper connection with ourselves and the world around us.

We will also discuss the practical applications of herbal first aid and herbal skin care to help round out your growing apothecary.

By creating these remedies ourselves, we not only take control of our own health but also deepen our connection with nature's healing powers. Each participant will have the opportunity to make and take home an herb-infused oil, a salve, and a flower essence during this workshop.

In addition to these hands-on activities, participants will receive a Summer Remedies booklet filled with plant monographs and several recipes for further exploration at home.

**Please Note** This registration is for ONE class in our Creating Your Herbal Medicine Chest series. The dates for our other sessions have not yet been released. You can find descriptions for the following classes here: Learn more about our upcoming herbal classes here. You do not need to attend all four classes in the series, but they are intended to function as a complete course.
