Dive into the world of self-publishing with our Zine Making Workshop! This hands-on session will guide you through creating your very own zine, a unique and personal mini-magazine. Whether you're an artist, writer, or someone with a story, this workshop is for you.
You will learn:
- History and Culture of Zines: Understand the origins and significance of zines in alternative and DIY culture.
- Concept & Design: Learn how to brainstorm and develop themes and ideas for your zine and tips on designing layouts and incorporating images.
- Collage and Mixed Media Techniques: Explore creative methods for combining text and visuals.
This workshop is open to all skill levels. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned zine creator, there's something for everyone.

About the instructor
Becky is a self-proclaimed curious creative. They work across various mediums to engage in the creative process particularly when it comes to following their interest in a new form of artistic expression. They have taught informally to groups online and look to expand their connection through curious creativity.
