Creative Learning Professional Learning for Regional Artists - Esperance
Description
FORM has been working at the cross section of creativity and education in WA for the past decade. Through placing practicing artists in classrooms alongside teachers to codesign creative approaches to mainstream subjects, students develop creative and critical thinking skills and engage deeply in their learning.
Join FORM’s Creative Learning team for a free, practical two-hour workshop for regional artists interested in working creatively with schools and young people. Explore strategies for connecting creative practice with curriculum, developing strong project ideas, building student engagement and identifying funding opportunities through the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport. Supported by CITS, this workshop will provide practical advice and knowledge to support creative practitioners to successfully apply for grants to work in the schools in their community.
This event is occurring in the Esperance Community Arts Centre. Bring your own notetaking utensils, snacks will be provided.
