Culinary Essentials: Eggs
Description
Date: Thursday, August 13
Time: 6-8:30pm
Description:
Is there anything the egg can't do? If your culinary expertise starts and ends with eggs on toast, this class is for you. Discover why professional chefs consider the egg one of the most important ingredients in their repertoire. Chef Bernie will bring us back to his culinary school days and teach a variety foundational French-style culinary techniques. From mains and sides to dressings and desserts, the humble egg is key to so many show-stopper dishes which you'll soon be able to recreate at home. And of course, we'll enjoy the fruits (er, eggs?) of our labor with a three-course family-style meal.
On the menu: *May vary slightly based on seasonal availability and market-fresh ingredients.*
Seasonal Quiche
Classic Caesar Salad
Silky French Sabayon
Capacity = 12
Registration closes 48 hours before class begins, as our chefs need time to shop and prep. We do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies whenever possible. If a request cannot be accommodated for a particular class, we’ll contact you directly. For guests 21 and over, complimentary wine will be served during the seated dinner portion of class. Please do not bring outside alcohol; we ask that all guests consume responsibly.
