Innersense Artist Aaron Scott Lacy will demonstrate intentional curl cutting through shape, design, and suitability, followed by styling demonstrations with Innersense Artist Correia Rouse joining Aaron that explore enhancing natural movement and definition.

Apply your learnings and refine your approach to curl cutting and styling in a supportive, guided environment.

Day 2 Color + Style Focus | 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

A true believer that suitability is key, Aaron Scott Lacy’s body of work encompasses all natural texture and spotlights the real people who own it. A master of shape, design, and communication, the San Diego artist developed his education platform A Simple Lesson to remove stylists’ fear of working with natural hair—offering an accessible, grounded approach that resonates with artists of all skill levels.

Correia Rouse

Driven by a passion to help people feel better, Correia Rouse is a multi-faceted cosmetologist specializing in wellness-focused curly hair care, skin care, and makeup artistry in Portland, OR. Her approach blends technical excellence with empathy and mindfulness, encouraging stylists to see beauty as both craft and care.
