About the workshop
Cyanotype (sigh-an-oh-type) is the OG photographic process. You’ll use your imagination, specially coated paper, objects, the sun and plain water, to make cool blue toned images.

What will I learn?
You will learn how to make Cyanotypes using objects (Photograms), drawings and photographic negatives (Reprographs).

What will I take home?
You’ll make 2 Cyanotype images to take home.

Is there anything I need to bring?
Materials for making the Cyanotypes are all supplied, but please:

  • Put sunblock on before you arrive, and bring along a hat, as we’ll be spending time outside
  • Wear an apron and covered shoes as we’ll be working with water
  • Bring a drink (and a small snack in case you get hungry)
