Dance Together - Intergenerational Play!
Description
Come and join us for a Saturday morning open to families, grandparents, friends, young and old and in-betweens! Penny Chivas (https://penny-chivas.squarespace.com/) is in Mparntwe / Alice Springs for a week in February, leading workshops and performances as part of a residency with local artist Miriam Nicholls (https://www.miriamnicholls.org/dusty-feet-dance). We are opening up this space as a one-off special dance workshop for all ages, with potential to become a regular event, so come with us to be creative and celebrate the start of the year! No experience needed, two left feet especially welcome :)
This workshop is part-funded by Arts NT through Creative Communities, however to pay our artists for the week we encourage a donation of $10 per family. If costs are a barrier though, please just come along anyway!
