Thanks for booking in to @EventName! We are really looking forward to seeing you in the studio soon. This is a one-off event with our guest artist Penny Chivas coming to town for a week, but I'd love to host more regular dance and play sessions in the future if this is of interest.

For dance and play, we will be at Red Hot Arts in the dance studio. The building is diagonally opposite Kmart, so you can park either on Bath st, or in the Kmart carpark and walk over. Please come a little bit early, wear comfy clothes you can move in, and bring a water bottle. The floor can be a bit slippery for socks so it is best to go barefoot or wear soft shoes if you need.

Movements & Frequencies II - February 2026
Dusty Feet Dance are very excited to be hosting Penny Chivas for a week in Mparntwe / Alice Springs in February as part of her wider Australia tour. Penny Chivas (she/her) is a Glasgow-based dance artist originally from Ngunnawal Country, Australia. An original member of Quantum Leap (QL2 Dance), Penny is a graduate of WAAPA, the VCA Honours course and the Master of Education at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She has performed and taught across the UK and internationally, and currently practices improvisation between several collectives in Glasgow moving between music, voice and dance.

Together with Miriam from Dusty Feet Dance, Penny will be offering workshops and performances in Mparntwe for all ages and levels of experiences. Please see program below and come and join us for a special start to your dancing year!
