Dance Club NAARM: YA YA
Event description
Dance club: fun, sustainable and community based. Dance Club meets for a standalone groove. No pressure to attend consecutively. No pressure to remember choreography after the class. No pressure to perform in front of others. This is like you and your friends in primary school making up dances and having a laugh...But now.
Co-taught by Lizzy Baker and Gemma Dawes, the team behind Bey Dance and Cult Dance Melbourne, this special edition Dance Club gets the gang back together for a Beyonce special workshop, learning moves to YA YA as the Cowboy Carter world tour tears up the other side of the planet.
This class is come as you are, pay as you feel. Dressing up is encouraged but not compulsory. Wear clothes you can move in and bring water bottle and a cash payment should you choose to contribute financially to the class.
Meet at Comedy Republic Sunday June 15 for a cruisey 2 hour class, plenty of time to sweat and breathe in equal measure.
Dance Club exists to create a little happy pocket in a heavy world. Would you like to join the club?
