Dance Club: Over the Rainbow Dance for Palestine

Please join Dance Club to create a simple and all inclusive dance to perform at Funk Rai$er: Protestival for Palestine.

Dance has always been a part of protest. Many dance forms - Irish dancing, all African American dance styles and Vogue have all originated in defiance at marginalisation and oppression (to name a few).

We will create a dance that allows us to channel both grief and hope. It will be gentle enough to calm anxious nervous systems and powerful enough to impact with heart.

We would love you to be involved. Anyone and everyone, all ages, who want to show up for Palestine and want to channel their grief and dreams of a better future are welcome. So bring your babes in arms, unco-opoerative toddlers, primary school kids, pre teens, teens, and all manner and age of adult to join the dance.

You can attend one or both in person rehearsals and access a video break down of the dance to learn at home if you can’t get to the rehearsals.
