Dear Stranger: A Letter Writing Mixer

Imagine receiving a handwritten letter from someone who had never met you but somehow they said exactly what you needed to hear.

That's what we're creating together.

Dear Stranger is a warm and intimate gathering where every single person in the room leaves with a letter written just for them.

Here's how it works: you'll arrive, get settled with a drink in hand and be given a card introducing you to a stranger. Someone right there in the room with you. You'll learn a little about who they are and then you'll write to them. Words of encouragement, kindness and gentle affirmation. No rules. No perfect sentences required. Just your warmest, most human words on paper.

While you're writing…someone else in the room is doing the exact same thing for you.

At the end of the event, letters are exchanged.

Some people will read theirs out loud and share a moment with the room. Some will tuck theirs away and savour it later. However you receive it, it was written with you in mind by someone who chose their words carefully.

Join us for an intimate afternoon of letter writing, thoughtful conversation, and creative reflection. Each attendee will receive a selection of keepsakes, including postcards, affirmation cards, and other curated paper goods to take home.
