Showcasing some of the world’s best ocean films from above and below the surface, the Best of Ocean Film Festival brings together an inspiring collection of short films celebrating ocean adventure and exploration, marine life, surfing and ocean sports, coastal cultures and conservation.
Settle in under the stars and journey from our own coastline to some of the wildest places on the planet. The evening will feature a selection of festival favourites, including We the Surfers, Elephants of Avalon and Footprints on Katmai, alongside more incredible stories exploring our connection with the ocean and the people and wildlife that depend on it.
Come down from 6pm and enjoy activities before the screening, including the EPA Binnovator, a Coastal Environment Centre stall and the SharkSmart Van from DPI and Regional Development.
The films begin at 7.30pm, with the ocean providing the perfect backdrop for a night of adventure, discovery, and inspiration.
Location: The screen will be set up near the ping pong tables between The Strand and the path.
