The Inclusive Volunteering Project is designed to enhance volunteering opportunities for people with disability across volunteer-involving organisations.
This Disability Awareness Training, delivered by Mission Australia as Partners in the Community of the NDIS, supports organisations to better include and welcome volunteers with disability.
Training covers:
Understanding disability
Disability reform and social inclusion
Stereotypes and misconceptions
Barriers to inclusion
Inclusive communication
Pathways of support
