Women's Support Motueka is a non-profit specialist family violence organisation based at Motueka Community House.

Our 100% free support service includes:

Crisis Response when leaving a violent or abusive relationship, Police Safety Orders, Protection Orders and ongoing support after separation.
Support - a cuppa and a chat about things that are worrying you
Advocacy - going with you to appointments or meetings
Counselling - confidential support and long-term healing

Our Community Engagement and Violence Prevention Programme includes:

Family Violence Training - "Understanding Trauma and Dealing with Family Violence Disclosures Workshops" is a paid professional development programme for anyone who could receive a disclosure of family violence.
Primary Prevention - Youth Outreach Programme being developed in 2025/2026
Secondary Prevention - Awareness Campaign Posters and Services Hui in 2025
Tertiary Prevention - Breaking the Cycle of Violence Workshops - Currently in early stages of development.
