Event description

The Djeran Educators RING at Boola Bardip is designed to support educators understand what is on offer for students to learn about the cross-curriculum priority of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history and culture at Boola Bardip. It will also give them the opportunity to learn more about how yarning circles are traditionally used and to experience participating in a yarn.

Educators will be guided through the museum with a focus on the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history and cultures. A session on yarning circles and the opportunity to take part in a yarning circle will be led by Rickeeta Walley, a Noongar yorga.
